Recycling is an essay thing to do, it will take you up to only two minutes to recycling. I can really improve the envoirment, and thats why i chose this movment.

Recyle!
The movement i chose is recycling. Basically recycling turns materials that would otherwise become waste into valuable resources. For example water bottles, cans, paper, and many other objects. Sorting and processing recyclables into raw materials such as fibers, manufacturing raw materials into new products, and purchasing recycled products. Social media to promote recycling resulted in improved attitudes about recycling and increased recycling rates on the university campus. Study found that upon receiving social media e-mails, students would use this information to influence others i to recycle more frequently and that recycling rates would increase. In my opinion Dianna Cohen is considered a leader because she is starting a group that helps with plastic recycling and she is responsible for managing the group and making it succeed. She does a lot of works that makes people realize that recycling only takes them less than a minute and it can make a huge change.

Pat, Present, Future
I created a video mash-up on computers. Basically what my mash-up included was that computers in the 2o0th century were much bigger. They required a large amount of people to work on them, and they were mostly used for calculation. However now it is very common for each house to have a computer or a laptop, and it is used for mostly everything. In the future they might have lazier keyboards and very small computers. My mash-up went from present, to past, to future. We had to include a title page, and also text in between some pictures to make it clear for the viewer what is happening. Also some music to make it sound better. My mash-up went good and I enjoyed working on it.
This is my mash-up:

Unit 4: Understanding how media changes over time.
In this lesson we have to choose a type of technology and look at it's evolution. I choose computers. The first computer was created it the second half of the 20th century. These computers were characterized by the use of vacuum tubes. They were big and not everyone can afford them. The 1990's, computers incorporated enhanced communication and applications and become a part of the daily lives of many people. Technology became more advanced and computers began to advance too. Now a days computers and easy to find and use, and almost everyone can afford one.
Since we are still advancing and discovering new items, computers are also becoming more advanced. I have seen a couple of pictures of new computers. Instead of typing on a keyboard you type on this lazier board that projects it to the computer. Pretty cool huh? I think that computers will keep on advancing and will be used even more between the people.

Facebook privacy settings post
A lot of Facebook users do not know all the privacy settings. These settings are very important because they keep your account private. This article states 10 of the privacy setting all Facebook users should know and use. The first one is sharing on Facebook; this setting gives you the option to whom do you want to share your content and that you can control who can see your context and who cannot see. The second one talks about how you can also control who can view your photos. The third, fourth and fifth one talks about how you might think your profile is private but when your friends check you in to places other people might know where you are, and this effects your privacy. It also talks about how people can simply find you by searching your name, do you want that? They also can view your profile and you personal details if your profile was public. The rest talk about similar things, like how you can control who can see what even if those people are friends with you, you can make a list for people you do not want to view your pictures for example. I found the last part very important because many people are having troubles because their Facebook is getting hacked, this privacy setting "HTTPS" can stop this. This article is very useful for Facebook users.
I am a Facebook user, and the only privacy settings I have that the article listed are: not all people can view my photos, even though some of them are my friends. My Facebook is private. The last privacy setting I have is that when people search my name, they can not view my profile or my pictures. If people ignore these setting, a lot of problems would happen. First, strangers might view your profile and view you pictures too. Second, people all around the world would know where you are and what you are doing. These can cause people to hack your profile, steal your pictures and use them for something you would like.
As I mentioned before I am a Facebook user. Yes of course, these privacy setting concern me because I do not want strangers knowing my information. I learned a lot from this article and I advise each and every Facebook user to read this because it is very important to keep your importation private. I definitely will change a lot of settings after reading this.

Teens Overtake the Market Reflection
Obviously the side I chose of the arguments is that in my opinion the teens have all the control over the market. First, teens in 2003 have spent about 112.5 billion dollars, and that number had increased 12 percent in 2010. This proves that the teens spend a lot on the market and without those spending the markets would fail. Another supporting detail I used is that research proved that teens have a way of convincing their parents to get them anything they want, and if parents give the teens the money they need they will spend it on markets. In the last slide I talked about how teens peer pressure each other into getting and doing certain things. So I conclude that teens are in control of the market, because without teens the market would definitely fail and loose business.
